The assembly planner (AP) assumes the responsibility for implementing manual processes, special tools, jigs, fixtures and equipment into the Assembly Hall as well as documenting the process for the assembly personnel. The assembly planner is also responsible for evaluating any product/process changes during product upgrades, engineering changes or new product launches.
Our client, who is based in Swindon, is an automotive parts and accessories manufacture, who produces steel pressings, body panels and complex sub-assemblies. They are looking for a
specialist in laboratory based, Materials Technology activities within a specified discipline of metals, as dictated by business requirements and production needs.
Responsible for the completeness and correctness of the production Bill of Material (BoM) in Plant Oxford and Swindon.
You will be responsible to validate the plausibility of incoming releases for pre-defined module scope, schedule the released content and communicate implementation with key process partners.
